RMA Repair Options
Fixed Rate Pricing (Direct Exchange Program, DEP)
w/ 1-year warranty
Non-Warranty – Upon receipt
of a purchase order at fixed rate pricing, per an
agreement, Noah Precision, LLC will ship an exchange
unit.
- Customer induced damage treated
as non-warranty - Upon receipt of a purchase
order at fixed rate pricing, per an agreement, Noah
Precision, LLC will evaluate the unit for damage
beyond the average repair (based on data of known
component failures (averaged costs) over a 2-3 year
period), and may provide an additional quote based
on the results. When approved, a change order is
required to reflect the quoted price. Noah Precision,
LLC will repair the unit and ship back.
- 3rd Party Repairs treated
as non-warranty - Upon receipt of a purchase
order at fixed rate pricing, per an agreement, Noah
Precision, LLC will evaluate the unit for non-standard
equipment used, inefficiencies, etc. and may provide
an additional quote based on the results. When approved,
a change order is required to reflect the quoted
price. Noah Precision, LLC will repair the unit
and ship back.
Warranty – Upon receipt of
a zero dollar purchase order, Noah Precision, LLC
will ship an exchange unit.
- Customer induced damage treated
as non-warranty – Same as above.
- 3rd Party Repairs treated
as non-warranty – Same as above.
Noah Precision, LLC requests that the Customer, Representative
or Distributor ship the failed unit back within 30
days. At 60 days, if we still haven't received the
unit, Noah Precision, LLC will invoice at list price
less 40%. At 90 days, if the RMA is still unresolved,
Noah Precision, LLC will put the Customer, Representative
or Distributor on credit hold.

Time & Material Pricing w/ 90-day warranty
Non-Warranty – Upon receipt
of a zero dollar purchase order, to initiate the evaluation,
Noah Precision, LLC will evaluate the unit and provide
a quote based on the results. When approved, a change
order is required to reflect the quoted price. Noah
Precision, LLC will repair the unit and ship back.
Warranty – Upon receipt of
a zero dollar purchase order, Noah Precision, LLC
will repair the unit and ship back.
Estimated lead time for repair: 6 - 8 weeks ARO
RMA Shipments
RMA shipments from customer to Noah Precision, LLC
abide by the following guidelines:
Non-Warranty and Warranty –
All shipping costs (Shipping, Value Added Taxes (VAT’s)
& International Duties & Taxes) are at Customer,
Representative or Distributor’s expense. If
the shipment is from outside of the US, the Customer,
Representative or Distributor must utilize their own
customs broker for the return. Only acceptable
incoterm: DDP (Deliver Duties Paid).
In the case of a unit failing in less than or equal
to 90 days from shipment , Noah Precision, LLC will
assume all shipping costs (including International
Duties & Taxes and Customs Brokerage fees). Noah
Precision will determine the carrier and customs broker
for this return. Do not ship using your preferred
carrier, as this may not be Noah’s preferred
choice. Failure to follow Noah Precision shipment
instructions will result in shipment costs and VAT’s
being charged to the Customer, Representative or Distributor.
Incoterms for this transaction are FOB or FCA (DDP
can be used if Noah’s preferred carrier is FedEx
and shipping “freight collect”).
RMA shipments from Noah Precision, LLC to customer
abide by the following guidelines:
Non-Warranty – All shipping
costs (Shipping, Value Added Taxes & International
Duties & Taxes) are at Customer, Representative
or Distributor’s expense. If the shipment is
from outside of the US, the Customer, Representative
or Distributor must utilize their own customs broker
for the return.
Warranty – All shipping costs
(Shipping, Value Added Taxes & International Duties
& Taxes) are at Noah Precision, LLC’s expense.
Any situation where the failed unit, under warranty,
creates a “Tool Down” scenario, it will
be necessary to make Noah Precision, LLC aware of
this urgency as soon as possible. Noah Precision,
LLC will gladly expedite warranty replacement on a
‘case-by-case’ basis, at no additional
cost to the Customer, Representative or Distributor.
Other requests for expedited warranty shipments may
result in the Customer, Representative or Distributor
becoming liable for a portion or all of the shipping
costs for this shipment.
Noah Precision, LLC utilizes the best available,
economy level services, to transport the Warranty
unit back to the Customer, Representative or Distributor.
We use the services of carriers and freight forwarders
who offer the best Internet “Web Shipment Tracking”.
This allows the Customer, Representative or Distributor
the ability to track the shipment progress at their
convenience.
A valid carrier (UPS/Fed Ex) or freight forwarder
and account number must be indicated on all purchase
orders.
